Barnes Backhoe & Grading a great job on my project. Derek cleared 1/3-Mile of Trees on downward and upward terrain. He also built a land-bridge across the creek. Additionally, he cleared a beautiful 2-Acre Homesite. His attention to detail and ability to achieve our expectations made this a very worthwhile endeavor. I’d recommend Barnes for any Site Work a person may have.

For the past 20 years Derrick has been doing grading work for me. He has a great understanding of the engineering side of a build as well as a great rapport with local engineers when projects require them. He manages his schedule effectively so it doesn’t take months to arrive on site and is quick to respond when emergencies pop up. Additionally he plans well so once a job is started he maintains a consistent presence until the job is done. Most importantly he calls you back when you leave a message, unlike a great deal of grading companies!

Had new septic tank and field lines installed. Everything went great and in a professional manner. Another time had him demo old shed and haul away and graded. Couldn’t ask for any better job. Use his name often.
